カルト教団が日本のマスコミに手を伸ばしている Cult groups are extending their reach into Japan's media.

 　『TM特別報告書』、統一教会トップの韓鶴子への報告書の内容が少しずつ明らかになっている。「高世仁のジャーナルな日々」、「Tansa」で詳しい報告が次々となされているので、読んでほしいと思う。

　さてまず今日のTansaの報告で驚いたのは、統一教会が、政治家だけではなく、マスコミ関係者にまで触手を伸ばしていることが明らかになったことだ。

　Tansaの「編集長コラム」には、『毎日新聞』記者が、「教団関連のイベント等に参加し」、「 「あまりに素晴らしく感動的」と感想を統一教会に寄せた」と書いていることが指摘され、それはすでに『毎日新聞』がそうした事実を紙面で報じているようなのだ。

　その記者は、「教団関係団体の主催とは認識していなかった」としているが、それはウソだろう。「渡航費や宿泊費は統一教会側が負担」していたというからである。知らなくてカネを出してもらうなんてあり得ない。もし費用を誰が出してくれたか分からない、というのなら、そいつは記者失格である。

　しかし『毎日新聞』だけではなく、「特別報告書」には複数の、マスコミ関係者の名前が記されているということだ。「編集長コラム」は、「 実は、統一教会のイベントに参加したり、賞賛する感想を寄せたりした記者として、TM特別報告書に登場するのは、毎日新聞だけではない。他の全国紙やテレビ局、雑誌の記者も出てくる。」と書いている。

　すべてのマスコミは、隠すことなく、しっかりとまず公表すべきである。 日本のマスコミは、腐っている。

Now, what surprised me most in today's Tansa report was the revelation that the Unification Church extends its tentacles not only to politicians but also to media figures.

　Tansa's “Editor's Column” points out that a newspaper Mainichi Shimbun reporter “participated in church-related events” and “shared impressions with the Unification Church, stating it was ‘too wonderful and moving.’” It appears the Mainichi Shimbun has already reported these facts in its print edition.

 The reporter claims he “was unaware it was organized by a church-affiliated group,” but that's a lie. After all, “travel and lodging expenses were covered by the Unification Church.” It's impossible to be unaware and still have someone else foot the bill. If he truly didn't know who covered the costs, he's unfit to be a reporter.

However, it's not just the Mainichi Shimbun; the “Special Report” lists the names of multiple media personnel. The “Editor's Column” states: “In fact, the Unification Church's TM Special Report names not only Mainichi Shimbun reporters who participated in its events or submitted praise, but also reporters from other national newspapers, TV stations, and magazines.”

All media outlets should disclose this information fully and without concealment. Japan's media is rotten.
