堕ち行く日本

 　円安ドル高がとまらない。日本は、どんどん「安い」国になっていく。一ドルが157円後半、というのが現在の相場である。こうなると、食料を大きく海外に依存している日本の食料品価格の上昇はとまらないだろう。

　この円安政策は、安倍晋三が首相時代に進めたものである。安倍政権のみならず自由民主党政権は、日本の輸出産業を儲けさせるために円安を誘導してきた。安倍の子分という高市が首相になったら、円安はさらに進んだ。

　自由民主党のなかの極右の政策を実行した安倍晋三、その子分の高市は、今日の新聞によると、非核三原則（核兵器を持たず、作らず、持ち込ませずとする日本政府の基本方針）を無化し、軍事費をさらに増額し（ということはアメリカからの購入を増やすということで、円安のなか日本の負担はとんでもない額になる）、日本からの軍需品の輸出をさらに緩和し、日本の軍事産業を儲けさせ、無人機を導入し、長距離ミサイルの配備を進め、さらに原子力潜水艦までつくろうとしている。

　自由民主党は、各国に対して法治主義がどうのこうのといっているが、自由民主党は日本国憲法すら守るつもりはない無法集団である。そうした政党が日本の政治の舵を取るなんて、これでは国際社会から信用されないだろう。

　ついでに記しておけば、国民が物価高で苦しんでいるのに、自由民主党は、国会議員の報酬を月5万円の増額を図ろうとしている。国民が滅んで、輸出産業、軍需産業、そして国会議員だけが栄えていく。それでも、日本国民は、高市政権に高い支持率を与えている。

これは悲劇に容易に転じる喜劇でしかない。 

 The yen's decline and the dollar's rise show no signs of stopping. Japan is steadily becoming an increasingly “cheap” country. The current exchange rate is around 157 yen to the dollar. With this trend, the rise in food prices in Japan—a country heavily dependent on overseas food supplies—will likely continue unabated.

This policy of yen depreciation was advanced during Shinzo Abe's tenure as Prime Minister. Not only the Abe administration but LDP governments in general have engineered yen weakness to boost profits for Japan's export industries. When Takaichi, considered Abe's protégé, became Prime Minister, the yen's decline accelerated further.

According to today's newspapers, Shinzo Abe, who implemented the far-right policies within the LDP, and his protégé Takaichi, are now nullifying the Three Non-Nuclear Principles (Japan's basic policy of not possessing, producing, or allowing the introduction of nuclear weapons). They are further increasing military spending (meaning increased purchases from the US, which will impose an enormous burden on Japan amid the weak yen), further relax restrictions on Japan's military exports to enrich its defense industry, introduce drones, advance the deployment of long-range missiles, and even build nuclear submarines.

The LDP lectures other nations about the rule of law, yet it is a lawless group with no intention of even upholding Japan's own Constitution. For such a party to steer Japan's politics means it will lose credibility in the international community.

　Incidentally, while the people suffer from high prices, the LDP seeks to raise Diet members' salaries by 50,000 yen per month. The people perish while only the export industries, military industries, and Diet members prosper. Yet the Japanese people still give the Takaichi administration high approval ratings.

This is nothing but a comedy that could easily turn into tragedy.

 　日本国憲法前文（部分）を確認しよう。 

日本国民は、恒久の平和を念願し、人間相互の関係を支配する崇高な理想を深く自覚するのであつて、平和を愛する諸国民の公正と信義に信頼して、われらの安全と生存を保持しようと決意した。われらは、平和を維持し、専制と隷従、圧迫と偏狭を地上から永遠に除去しようと努めてゐる国際社会において、名誉ある地位を占めたいと思ふ。われらは、全世界の国民が、ひとしく恐怖と欠乏から免かれ、平和のうちに生存する権利を有することを確認する。

われらは、いづれの国家も、自国のことのみに専念して他国を無視してはならないのであつて、政治道徳の法則は、普遍的なものであり、この法則に従ふことは、自国の主権を維持し、他国と対等関係に立たうとする各国の責務であると信ずる。

日本国民は、国家の名誉にかけ、全力をあげてこの崇高な理想と目的を達成することを誓ふ。

We, the Japanese people, desire peace for all time and are deeply conscious of the high ideals controlling human relationship, and we have determined to preserve our security and existence, trusting in the justice and faith of the peace-loving peoples of the world.We desire to occupy an honored place in an international society striving for the preservation of peace, and the banishment of tyranny and slavery, oppression and intolerance for all time from the earth.We recognize that all peoples of the world have the right to live in peace, free from fear and want. 

 We believe that no nation is responsible to itself alone, but that laws of political morality are universal; and that obedience to such laws is incumbent upon all nations who would sustain their own sovereignty and justify their sovereign relationship with other nations.

We, the Japanese people, pledge our national honor to accomplish these high ideals and purposes with all our resources.

また第九条には、こうある。

第九条　日本国民は、正義と秩序を基調とする国際平和を誠実に希求し、国権の発動たる戦争と、武力による威嚇又は武力の行使は、国際紛争を解決する手段としては、永久にこれを放棄する。

Aspiring sincerely to an international peace based on justice and order, the Japanese people forever renounce war as a sovereign right of the nation and the threat or use of force as means of settling international disputes.

２　前項の目的を達するため、陸海空軍その他の戦力は、これを保持しない。国の交戦権は、これを認めない。

 In order to accomplish the aim of the preceding paragraph, land, sea, and air forces, as well as other war potential, will never be maintained.The right of belligerency of the state will not be recognized.
